చరిత్ర మార్చు
1974 ఆగస్టు 1న నికోబార్ జిల్లా, అండమాన్ జిల్లా నుండి వేరు చేయబడింది. 2006 ఆగస్టు 18న, అండమాన్ జిల్లాను ఉత్తర మధ్య అండమాన్, దక్షిణ అండమాన్ అనే రెండు జిల్లాలుగా విభజించారు
