జాతీయ రహదారి 42 (పాత పేరు జాతీయ రహదారి 205, 209) భారతదేశంలోని ప్రధానమైన రహదారి. ఇది కర్ణాటక రాష్ట్రంలోని జోలదరాసి పట్టణాన్ని తమిళనాడు రాష్ట్రంలోని కృష్ణగిరి పట్టణాన్ని కలుపుతుంది.^[1] ఈ రహదారి సంఖ్య జాతీయ రహదారి 205, 209 నుండి 42 గా మార్చబడింది.^[2]
