ఉఖ్రుల్ జిల్లాలో షిరుయి లిలీ వంటి ప్రకృతి సౌందర్య ప్రదేశాలు ఉన్నాయి. వీటిలో ఖంగ్రుయి మాంగ్సర్ గుహలు కూడా ఒకటి. ఈ గుహలు భరతదేశంలో ఉన్న అతిపురాతనమైన గుహలలో ఒకటని భావిస్తున్నారు. జిల్లాకేంద్రం ఉఖ్రుల్ పట్టణం కూడా డంకన్ పార్కు, జపానీ మడుగు, పట్టణ దక్షిణ భూభాగంలో ఉన్న ఎల్షడై పార్క్, విహారప్రదేశం మెజెస్టిక్ ఫంగ్రెయి వంటి ప్రకృతి అందాలకు నిలయమే. జిల్లాలో ఖయంగ్ వంటి ప్రఖ్యాత జలపాతం మరియు ఇతర పలు జలపాతాలకు ఈ జిల్లా నిలయం. [[మణిపూర్]] రాష్ట్ర పర్యాటక కేంద్రాలలో ఈ జిల్లా ఒకటి. ఆదరపూర్వక సేవలకు ఉత్సవాలకు ఈ జిల్లా ప్రఖ్యాతి చెందింది. వివిధ గ్రామాలు మరియు పట్టణాలలో మాసానికి ఒక ఉత్సవం జరుగుతూ ఉంటుంది. తంగ్‌కుల ప్రజల ప్రఖ్యాత ఉత్సవాలలో లుయిర (విత్తనాలు చల్లే పండుగ) ,మంగ్‌ఖాప్ (విశ్రాంతి విందు) , తిషం (వీడ్కోల్ విందు) మరియు తరెయో ఉత్సవం (పంట కోతక పండుగ) వంటి ఉత్సవాలు ప్రధానమైనవి. ఇత్సవాల సమయంలో నోరూరించే తంగ్‌ఖుల్ వంటలకు లాంగ్పి గ్రామం ప్రసిద్ధి. రింగ్యి గ్రామం లుయిరా ఉత్సవం సమయంలో గ్రామంలో సంప్రదాయ నృత్యాలు( బ్రైడల్ నృత్యం, కన్యల పెరేడ్ నృత్యం, పండుగ నృత్యం నరియు యుద్ధ నృత్యం) మరియు గితాలాపన జరుగుతుంటాయి. ఈ ఉత్సవసమయంలో జరిగే యుద్ధనృత్యం చాలా ఖ్యాతిని పొందింది.రొంగ్యి గ్రామం తంగ్‌కుల్ చిత్రనిర్మాణం, సంగీతం మరియు నాటకాలకు ప్రసిద్ధి.
Besides the Shirui Lily, the district is known for many natural wonders like the Khangkhui Mangsor (cave) which is one of the oldest archeological cave of India. Ukhrul town the headquarters of the district has also many scenic places like the Duncan park, the Japanese pond, Elshadai park, at the southern part of the town, about Twenty two (22) km lies the majestic Phangrei (bone of contention between two villages)which is an ideal picnic spot. The district is also home to many water falls, of which Khayang water fall which is about 20 km from Ukhrul is very famous.
Ukhrul is also a tourist hot spot of Manipur state. It is known for its hospitality and festivals. Almost every month one finds festival being celebrated by different villages and towns. The chief festivals of the Tangkhuls are, Luira (seed sowing festival) Mangkhap (resting feast) Thisham (feast for the departed) and thareo (harvest festival). Longpi village is known for its authentic Tangkhul cuisine during the Luira festival. While Ringui village is known for its celebration of Luira Festival, during the festival the village comes alive with the traditional dances (bridal dance, parade of the virgin dance, festive dance and war dance) and songs. The famous War dances is performed during this festival. Ringui village is also known for production of films, music and plays of the Tangkhuls.
