జిల్లా 2 ఉపవిభాగాలుగా విభజించబడింది: ధాల్భుం మరియు ఘట్షిల.
* ధల్భం ఉపవిభాగంలో 4 బ్లాకులు ఉన్నాయి: గోల్మురి లేక జుగ్సలై, పొత్క, పతంద మరియు బొరం.
* ఘట్షిల ఉపవిభాగంలో 7 బ్లాకులు ఉన్నాయి: ఘట్షిల, ముసాబని, దుమరియా, గుడబంద, ధల్భుంగర్, బహరగొర మరియు చకులియా.
* జిల్లాలో 6 అసెంబ్లీ నియోజక వర్గాలు ఉన్నాయి : బహరగొర, ఘట్షిల, పొత్క, జుగ్సలై, తూర్పు జంషెడ్‌పూర్ మరియు పశ్చిమ జంషెడ్‌పూర్. ఇవిన్నీ జంషెడ్‌పూర్ పార్లమెంటరీ నియోజకవర్గానికి చెంది ఉన్నాయి.
