బాలాసోర్ జిల్లా: కూర్పుల మధ్య తేడాలు

ఇది నీలగిరి ఉపవిభాగం ఉంది. కొండలతో నిండిన ఈ భూభాగంలో ఉష్ణమండాలానికి చెందిన అర్ధహరిత వృక్షాలు అధికంగా ఉంటాయి. నీలగిరి కొండలోఉన్న ఎత్తైన శిఖరం సముద్రమట్టానికి 543 మీటర్ల ఎత్తులో ఉంటుంది. ఈ ప్రాంతంలో రాష్ట్రంలోని గిరిజన తెగలకు చిందిన ప్రజలు అధికంగా నివసిస్తున్నారు. ఈ ప్రాంతంలో విలువైన అటవీ సంపద మరియు క్వారీలు అధికంగా ఉన్నాయి.

The soil of Balasore district is mostly alluvial laterite. The soil of Central region is mostly clay, clay [[loam]] and sandy loam which is very fertile for paddy and other farm produces. Nilagiri Sub-division is mostly gravelly and lateritic soil, which is less fertile. A small strip of saline soil is also seen along the extreme coastal part of the district.
