'''ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ శాసనసభ''' (అసెంబ్లీ) చరిత్రలో, రెండు సభలతోను మరియు ఒక సభతోను, రెండు విధాలుగా నిర్వహించబడినది. ప్రజలచే ప్రత్యక్షంగా ఎన్నుకోబడిన సభ్యులచే నిర్వహించబడే సభను [[శాసనసభ]] అని, ప్రజలచే పరోక్షముగా ఎన్నుకోబడిన సభ్యులచే నిర్వహించబడే సభను [[శాసన మండలి]] సభ అని అంటారు. [[శాసనసభ]]ను [[దిగువసభ]] అని, శాసన మండలి సభను [[ఎగువ సభ]] అని కూడా అంటారు.
