Islam is the predominant religion in Srinagar followed by the vast majority (>93%). Most of them are Sunni Muslims with a minority of Shia Muslims.

Other religions include Hinduism, Sikhism, Christianity etc.

 

Kashmiri (कॉशुर, کأشُر Koshur) is an Indo-Aryan language and it is spoken primarily in the Kashmir Valley, in Jammu and Kashmir.[8][9][10].
