షిర్డీ సాయిబాబా: కూర్పుల మధ్య తేడాలు

 

[[1858]]లో చాంద్ పాటిల్ కుటుంబపు పెళ్ళివారితో కలిసి బాబా షిరిడీ వచ్చారు. అక్కడ [[ఖండోబా]] మందిరం దగ్గర బాబా బండి దిగినప్పుడు మందిరం పూజారి [[మహాల్సాపతి]] “Aao Sai” "రండి సాయీ" అని పిలిచాడు. తరువాత 'సాయి' నామం స్థిరపడి ఆయన "సాయిబాబా"గా ప్రసిద్ధుడైనారు.<ref>{{cite book | last = Bharadwaja | first = Acharya E. | title = Sai Baba The Master | publisher = India: Sree Guru Paduka Publications | date= 1996 | pages = 21}}</ref>

 

1918లో తన సమాధి వరకు సాయిబాబా షిరిడీలోనే ఉన్నారు. ఒక పాత [[మసీదు]]<nowiki/>ను తన నివాసం చేసుకొన్నారు. మసీదులో [[ధుని]]ని వెలిగించారు. అందులోనుండి [[విభూతి]]<nowiki/>ని తీసి తన దర్శనానికి వచ్చేవారికి పంచేవారు. అది వ వారికి రక్షణ ఇస్తుంది.వచ్చిన వారికి ఉపదేశాలు, ధర్మ బోధలు చేసేవారు. చాలా మహత్తులు చూపించారు. స్వయంగా వండి ప్రసాదాన్ని పంచేవారు. ఉత్సవాలలో పాల్గొనేవారు. ఒకోమారు విపరీతంగా కోపం చూపేవారు.<ref>"That Shirdi Sai Baba was eccentric is well-attested, for it seems that he was sometimes of uncouth and violent behaviour."
