*'''March 13, 2009''' – Used in 20,000+ wikipedia articles. This version was available for download from the National Park Service until about July 2010. It was soon reuploaded on the NPS Focus website at http://nrhp.focus.nps.gov/natreg/docs/All_Data.html.
*At least two previous versions from 2007 were previously available for download and were used in a few articles.
 
One used in 20,000+ wikipedia articles is the version of March 13, 2009, which was available for downloading from the National Park Service from about that date until about July 2010, then became available at some later date, and is now available again as of November 2010. A couple previous versions from 2007 were previously available for downloading and were used in many, but fewer, wikipedia articles. The March 13, 2009 version of database is available for download, as of November 2010, at [http://nrhp.focus.nps.gov/natreg/docs/All_Data.html http://nrhp.focus.nps.gov/natreg/docs/All_Data.html]. Because this database is in the public domain, and might become unavailable, it would be good if a copy of the database could be deposited in a permanent public archive, too.
