ఉత్తర ప్రదేశ్ లోని దియోఘర్ లో గుప్తుల కాలానికి చెందిన ఒక ఫలకం మీద శేషశాయియైన విష్ణువు, దాని పక్కనే కత్తి పట్టుకుని నిలుచుని ఉన్న ఒక యువకుడి రూపంలో నందకుడిని చూపించారు. ఆయుధ పురుషుడు విష్ణు ఆయుధాలను మధు కైటబుల మీదకు ఎత్తిచూపుతున్నట్లు ఉంటుంది.<ref>{{cite journal|last=[[C.
