సోషలిజం అనేది రాజకీయ, సామాజిక, ఆర్ధిక తత్వశాస్త్రం పరిధిని కలిగి ఉంటుంది. ప్రజా యాజమాన్యం (సామూహిక లేదా సాధారణ యాజమాన్యం) ఆధారంగా జనాదరణ పొందిన ఆర్థిక, రాజకీయ వ్యవస్థ. మానవ అవసరాలను నేరుగా తీర్చడానికి ఉద్దేశించిన వస్తువులను ఉత్పత్తి చేయడానికి ఉపయోగించే యంత్రాల సాధనాలు సామాజిక యాజమాన్యం, సంస్థల యొక్క కార్మికుల స్వీయ-నిర్వహణ ద్వారా వర్గీకరించబడిన ఆర్థిక, సామాజిక వ్యవస్థల పరిధిని కలిగి ఉంటుంది.[1][2][3][4]  అటువంటి వ్యవస్థలతో సంబంధం ఉన్న రాజకీయ సిద్ధాంతాలు, ఉద్యమాలు ఇందులో ఉన్నాయి. సామాజిక యాజమాన్యం, సామూహిక, సహకార లేదా ఈక్విటీ కావచ్చు ఒకే నిర్వచనం అనేక రకాల సోషలిజాన్ని కలుపుకోకపోగా, సామాజిక యాజమాన్యం ఒక సాధారణ అంశం[5][6] కమ్యూనిజం, సోషలిజం అనేది గొడుగు పదాలు.

పద చరిత్ర

పదం లాటిన్ సోషియెర్‌లో "సోషలిజం" మూలాన్ని కనుకోనట్టు దీని అర్థం కలపడం లేదా పంచుకోవడం. మధ్యయుగ చట్టంలో తరువాత రోమన్  సమాజాలలో సంబంధిత పదం తరువాతి పదం సహవాసం అని అర్ధం, ఫెలోషిప్, ఫ్రీమెన్ల మధ్య ఏకాభిప్రాయ ఒప్పందం యొక్క మరింత చట్టబద్ధమైన ఆలోచన.[7]
