పుట్టపర్తి పట్టణం ఈ నదీ తీరాన ఉంది. [[సత్య సాయి బాబా|సత్యసాయి బాబా]] ప్రశాంతి నిలయం ఈ నది ఒడ్డునే ఉంది. ప్రారంభ దశలో బాబా ఈ నదీ తీరంలో ఉపన్యాసాలు భక్తులకు వినిపించేవాడు. భజన కార్యక్రమాలు నిర్వహించేవాడు.
