రాజా రెడ్డిగారు [[1943]], [[అక్టోబర్ 6]] న [[ఆదిలాబాద్]] జిల్లా [[నర్సాపూర్]] గ్రామంలో సామాన్య [[వ్యవసాయం|వ్యవసాయ]] [[కుటుంబము|కుటుంబం]]<nowiki/>లో జన్మించారు. రాధారెడ్డి [[1952]], [[ఫిబ్రవరి 15]] న జన్మించారు. వీరిది బాల్య [[పెళ్ళి|వివాహం]]. వీరువురు [[వేదాంతం ప్రహ్లాదశర్మ]] గారి దగ్గర శిష్యరికం చేసారు. ==నృత్యప్రదర్శనలు==
రాజా రెడ్డిగారికి చిన్ననాటి నుండి [[కూచిపూడి (నృత్యము)|కూచిపూడి]] భాగవతం పైన ప్రత్యేక శ్రద్ధ. [[ఏలూరు]]<nowiki/>లో చిన్న చిన్న నృత్య ప్రదర్శనలు ఇచ్చిన తరువాత 1967 వ సంవత్సరం ప్రభుత్వ స్కాలర్షిప్ సహాయంతో [[ఢిల్లీ]]<nowiki/>లోని మాయారావ్ కళాశాలనందు కూచిపూడి నృత్యనభ్యసించారు<ref name="thehindu_a">{{cite news|title=Constant change|url=http://www.thehindu.com/arts/dance/constant-change/article3844160.ece|accessdate=31 January 2013|newspaper=The Hindu|date=August 31, 2012}}</ref>. తరువాత భారతదేశములోనే కాకా [[అమెరికా]], [[క్యూబా]], [[రష్యా]], [[ఫ్రాన్స్]] ఇలా ప్రపంచమంతటా నృత్యప్రదర్శనలిచ్చారు. కృష్ణాసత్యలుగా శివపార్వతులుగా ఈ దంపతుల లయబద్ధ నృత్యానికి నాటి ప్రధాని [[ఇందిరాగాంధీ]]నే కాక [[క్యూబా]] అధ్యక్షుడు ఫిడెల్ క్యాస్ట్రో వంటివారి నుండి ప్రశంసలు అందాయి. సంప్రదాయ నృత్యరీతులకు పెద్దపీట వేస్తూనే కూచిపూడి నృత్యానికి ఆధునిక సొబగులద్దారు<ref name="thehindu_a" />.
