*We gave him Isaac and Jacob: all (three) We

*The Prophet said, "The honorable is the son of the
honorable, the son the honorable, i.e. Joseph, the son
of Jacob, the son of Isaac, the son of Abraham."(బుఖారీ 4;596)
*I follow the faith of my forefathers Ibrahim
(Abraham), Ishaq (Isaac) and Ya'qoob (Jacob). It
is not fitting that we attribute any partners with
Allah.(యూసుఫ్:38)
*Praise be to Allah who has given me Isma`il
(Ishmael) and Ishaq (Isaac) in my old age.(ఇబ్రాహిం:39)
*Do you claim that Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma'il
(Ishmael), Ishaq (Isaac), Ya'qoob (Jacob) and their
descendants were all Jews or Christians?(బఖరా:140)
* "We believe in Allah and what is
revealed to us and what was revealed to Ibrahim
(Abraham), Isma`il (Ishmael), Ishaq (Isaac),
Ya'qoob (Jacob) and their descendants; and in that
which was given to Musa (Moses), Isa (Jesus) and
other Prophets from their Rabb; we do not
discriminate any one of them.(ఇమ్రాన్:84)
