== Background ==
Né dans les années 80 à Montréal, Matchless aka Problématik est le fils d’une famille chrétienne. C'est au début des années 2000 que Matchless découvre une passion pour cet art fantastique. C'est en écoutant Craig Mack, Jay-Z, Biggie, Red & Meth et d'autres que le rappeur s'est finalement mis à l'écriture pour informer et encourager les gens qui sont en constante affliction. Comme tout le monde de la scène Hip Hop Montréalaise, Matchless rappait en anglais avec ses amis. À l'époque Matchless était reconnu pour son flow rapide et sa petite voix que personne ne pouvait décrypter. C'est en 2005, que Matchless fut le saut dans la langue de Molière sous l’influence du rap français chrétien qui était de plus en plus présent. En 2008, il fonde le label indépendant Problématik Produktionz . Après avoir trouvé un accord pour la distribution et signé avec God'z Reel, Matchless sort son premier album studio, Problématik, en 2015.
