కుకి ప్రజలు: కూర్పుల మధ్య తేడాలు

"చిను" పేరు వివాదాస్పదమైంది. భారతదేశంలో బ్రిటీషు ఆక్రమణ సమయంలో కుకిషు భాష మాట్లాడే ప్రజలను సమూహపరచడానికి బ్రిటిషు వారు 'చిన్-కుకి-మిజో' అనే సమ్మేళనం పదాన్ని ఉపయోగించారు. భారత ప్రభుత్వం దీనిని "వారసత్వంగా" పొందింది.<ref>Violence and identity in North-east India: Naga-Kuki conflict - Page 201 S.
