This వంశము was the first ముస్లిం వంశము to పరిపాలించిన [[తెలుగుs]]. This effectively divided the తెలుగు nation into two countries, one ముస్లిం పరిపాలన country (తెలంగాణ State) and the other a Hindu పరిపాలన country. The వంశము ruled గోల్కొండ for 171 years, until the [[మొఘల్ సామ్రాజ్యము|మొఘల్]] చక్రవర్తి [[ఔరంగజేబు]] యొక్క సైన్యాలు conquered the [[దక్కన్]] in [[1687]].
