Managanellore has more than 400 years of history. once upon a time queen Mangamma was ruling the village and hence the village got named as Manganellore. Manganellore is one of the major panchayat in sullurpet mandal along with other villages like Kotapolur,Mannar polur and Mangalampadu. facilities in this village includes, it has Andhra Pragathi grameena bank which is used by almost 10 neighbour villages. Power sub station which supplies the power to more than 15 villages. Recently one steel plant named Varada steels estabilsed in manga nellore and creates job opportunities.manganellore is well connected to the national highway NH5 (7kms from NH5).
