హరిత కౌర్ డియోల్
ఫ్లైట్ లెఫ్టినెంట్ హరిత కౌర్ డియోల్ (1972 - డిసెంబరు 25 1996) భారతీయ వాయుసేనలో పైలట్. ఆమె వాయుసేనలోని మొట్టమొదటి మహిళా పైలట్. ఆమె తన ఇరవై రెండవ ఏట 1994 సెప్టెంబరు 2 న మొదటిసారిగా Avro HS-748 విమానాన్ని నడిపింది.[1][2][3][4]

ఆమె చండీఘర్ లోని ఒక సిక్కు కుటుంబానికి చెందినవారు.[1] 1993 లో ఎయిర్ ఫోర్స్ లో మొదటి ఏడుగురు మహిళా కాడెట్స్‌లో ఒకరిగా, షార్ట్ సర్వీసు కమిషన్ ఆఫీసరుగా ఎంపికైంది. రవాణా పైలట్ గా భారతదేశంలో మహిళా శిక్షణలలో క్లిష్టమైనది.[5] ప్రాథమిక శిక్షణ అనంతరం హైదరాబాదు దగ్గరలో దుండిగల్లో ఎయిర్ ఫోర్స్ అకాడమీలోను, యెలహంక ఎయిర్ ఫోర్స్ స్టేషను వద్ద ఎయిర్ లిఫ్టింగ్ ఫోర్స్ లోనూ శిక్షణ పొందారు.[6]
ఆమె 1996 డిసెంబరు 25 న నెల్లూరు వద్ద విమాన ప్రమాదంలో మరణించారు.[5] ఆంధ్ర ప్రదేశ్ లోని ప్రకాశం జిల్లాలో గల బుక్కపురం గ్రామం వద్ద జరిగిన విమాన ప్రమాదంలో ఆమెతో పాటు 24 మంది ఎయిర్ ఫోర్స్ కు చెందిన వ్యక్తులు మరణించారు.[7][8]
