జనతా కర్ఫ్యూ
భారతదేశంలో కరోనావైరస్ వ్యాప్తి చెందుతున్న నేపథ్యంలో, దాని వ్యాప్తిని అరికట్టేందుకు భారత ప్రధాని నరేంద్ర మోడీ జనతా కర్ఫ్యూను ప్రతిపాదించారు.[1] 2020 మార్చి 22న, భారత దేశ ప్రజలంతా ఉదయం 7 గంటల నుంచి రాత్రి 9 గంటల వరకు ఇళ్ళ నుండి బయటికి రాకుండా, స్వచ్ఛందంగా కర్ఫ్యూ పాటించాలని పిలుపునిచ్చారు.[2]

జనతా కర్ఫ్యూ 2020 మార్చి 22 న జనతా కర్ఫ్యూ ఉదయం 7 గంటల నుంచి రాత్రి 9 గంటల వరకు, 14 గంటల పాటు జరిగింది. పోలీసు, వైద్య సేవలు, మీడియా, హోమ్ డెలివరీ నిపుణులు, అగ్నిమాపక సిబ్బంది వంటి అవసరమైన సేవలు మినహా అందరూ కర్ఫ్యూలో పాల్గొన్నారు. సాయంత్రం 5 గంటలకు, కరోనా వైరస్ నియంత్రణకు క్షేత్రస్థాయిలో పనిచేస్తున వైద్య సిబ్బంది, పారిశుద్ధ్య సిబ్బందికి మద్దతుగా దేశ వ్యాప్తంగా ప్రజలంతా తమ ఇళ్లలోంచి బయటకు వచ్చి చప్పట్లతో తమ సంఘీభావం తెలిపారు. [3] తెలంగాణ ముఖ్యమంత్రి జనతా కర్ఫ్యూ పిలుపుకు మద్దతు ఇస్తూ తెలంగాణలో 6 నుంచి సోమవారం ఉదయం 6 గంటల వరకు ఈ కర్ఫ్యూను పాటించాలని ప్రజలకు విజ్ఞప్తి చేశాడు.[4]
