తుమ్మ బాల 1944 ఏప్రిల్ 24న ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ లోని నర్మెట్ట లో జన్మించాడు.[6]

అతను 1970 డిసెంబరు 21న క్యాథలిక్ ప్రీస్ట్‌గా నియమితుడయ్యాడు.
బిషప్త్వమనే అధికారము మార్చు
1986 నవంబరు 17న పోప్ జాన్ పాల్ II చే వరంగల్ బిషప్‌గా నియమించబడ్డాడు. అతను 1987 మార్చి 12న బిషప్‌గా నియమితుడయ్యాడు. అతను పోప్ బెనెడిక్ట్ XVI చేత 2011 మార్చి 12న హైదరాబాద్ ఆర్చ్ బిషప్‌గా నియమించబడ్డాడు, 2011 మే 5 న హైదరాబాద్ ఆర్చ్ బిషప్‌గా నియమించబడ్డాడు[7][8][9][10][11][12].
