**కసాబ కర్బూజ (Casaba), పచ్చటి రంగు. నున్నటి తొక్క మీద చారికలు ఉంటాయి. ఇతర కర్బూజలతో పోల్చితే షాడబం (flavor) తక్కువ. కాని ఎక్కువ కాలం నిల్వ ఉంటుంది.[17]

**మధురపు కర్బూజ (Honeydew), ఆకుపచ్చ రంగులో ఉన్న గుజ్జు ఎంతో తియ్యగా, రసాలూరుతూ ఉంటుంది.
Honeydew, with a sweet, juicy, green-colored flesh. Grown as bailan melon in Lanzhou, China. There is a second variety which has yellow skin, white flesh and tastes like a moist pear.
