Kālī is represented as the consort of Lord [[Shiva]], on whose body she is often seen standing. She is associated with many other Hindu goddesses like [[Durga]], [[Bhadrakali]], [[Dakshayani|Sati]], [[Rudrani]], [[Parvati]] and [[Chamunda]].
