- This redirect category (Rcat) template populates Category:Redirects from members. Add this Rcat to a redirect in the following manner:
#REDIRECT [[(Target page name)]] {{R from member}}
- This is in accord with instructions found at Wikipedia:REDCAT.
- Template {{This is a redirect}} may also be used to add this and other appropriate Rcats to a redirect.
- Use this Rcat on any redirect from a person who is a member of a group to more general, related topics, such as the group, organization, ensemble or team that the person belongs to.
- At some point in the future, Jimmy Wales wants to make a printed version of the full Wikipedia encyclopedia. Some Rcats place a redirect in either Category:Printworthy redirects or Category:Unprintworthy redirects by default. Other Rcats like this one do not, which means that it is up to editors to choose to the best of their knowledge which of those categories, Printworthy or Unprintworthy, is appropriate and should be populated.
