Can somebody make this a tree?

I tried, but could not figure out where is what going wrong.

I worked it out by hit and trial tell me if there is factual error. so that I will correct it -వైఙాసత్య

svalpa problem

rudra sEnaani sons are shown to his borther mallaa reddy and the line followd till kaaTreDdi and kaami reDDi. 

we need to shift those vertical lines to a bit left.

Did you mean kaaTreDdi and kaami reDDi also Beti Reddi's sons?? let me know. I corrected the rudrasenani sons --వైఙాసత్య 19:41, 24 August 2005 (UTC)

family tree in text description

I hope a text description will avoid future confusion also.

brahma sEnaani mucca sEnaani kaTasEnaani kaama sEnaani (kaacemaaMba)

this kaama sEnaani has four songs. 1. kaaTacamUpati (wife, bejjamaaMba) 2. bEtireDDi (wifes erakasaani, kaamasaani) 3. naamireDDi (wife aitaaMba) 4. vallasaani (wife not known!)

Now 1. kaaTacamUpati has two sons a) muccasEnaani (end of tree) b) rudrasEnaani (end of tree)

And

2) bEti reDDi has two sons a) mallaa reDDi (has three sons see below) b) lOki reDDi (end of tree)

And

3) naami reDDi has two sons a) kaaTreDDi (wife paarasaani) and has three sons, see below b) kaami reDDi (wife kaamasaani) and has two sons, see below

And

4) vallasaani has only one son a) prOlaya and here ends his tree:

Now

--> Sons of mallaa reDDi aa) lOka sEnaani --> who has one son named "gaNapati" then end of tree ab) pedda gaNapati camU naatha --> end of tree ac) kaaTacamUpati --> pasaayita camUnaatha --> vIravasaayita --> end of tree

And

Sons of "kaaTreDDi"

ba) naamaya bb) kaamaya bc) mallaya

all above are last in tree

And

Sons of kaami reDdi

ca) gaNapireDDi cb) marreDDi

Above two are also at end of tree.

format change

Need to change the format. As this format seems to be changing from system to system depending on display. Will search how to do it on en wiki --వైఙాసత్య 01:07, 25 August 2005 (UTC)

This one looks pretty cool en:Family tree of the Greek gods. I might follow similiar format --వైఙాసత్య 01:14, 25 August 2005 (UTC)

Tips for making family tree

• Using underscore line is a big NO NO ( reason: may be wikicode will interpret it as white space). Instead dashed lines are safe.
• Using + signs will make alignments easier.
• Names and Connetors should be avoided in the same line. All names better be placed in one line and connectors (-- + etc..) 1st generation names (1st line), All connectors (2 & 3 lines), 2nd generation names (4th line) and then connectors (5 &6th line) like wise.
