Nelanuthala Sree Krishnamurthy(locally known as N.S.K [1]) has born on 16th, April 1910. He is a renowned Literary and Art Critique, Scholar and Historian. Besides practicing Law, he did thorough study and research. Sticking to study and research and writing seldom is his style. With broad interest, he studied Literature, Art and History of India. He has completed his B.A(Bachelor of Arts) degree in Annamalai University. Later, he did his Master Degrees(M.A.B.L & M.A in History) from Madras University and Kalakattha University respectively and started practicing as lawyer in Nellore District Court. He is often venerated as "Guyana Jyothi", "Vignyaana Sarasawam" & "Walking Library" in Andhra Region.

Even now few Scholars in Nellore remembers N.S.K's greatness saying that, back in those days, any scholar, artist(dance & painting), or any literary person, those come to Nellore will definitely visit and meet N.S.K.[2]

One of his prominent works is "Andhra Dance Sculpture[3]" which is an Extensive Study and Research on the "twin arts" of Dance and Sculpture which was published by Andhra Pradesh Lalitha Kala Akademi and Andhra Pradesh Sangeeta Natal Akademi.
