ఇండియన్ స్టీల్ కమీషన్
స్టీల్ అథారిటీ ఆఫ్ ఇండియా లిమిటెడ్ (SAIL) [2] అనేది భారతదేశంలోని న్యూఢిల్లీలో కేంద్రంగా పనిచేస్తున్న ఒక ప్రభుత్వ-ఆధీనమైన ఉక్కు సంస్థ. 2016-17 ఆర్థిక సంవత్సరానికి 44,452 కోట్ల వార్షిక టర్నోవర్ (US $ 6.83 బిలియన్) తో భారత ప్రభుత్వము సొంతమైన, నిర్వహించబడుతున్న ప్రభుత్వ రంగ సంస్థ. 1973 జనవరి 24 న సాయిల్ 78,333 ఉద్యోగులను కలిగి ఉంది (01-Jan-2018 నాటికి). వార్షిక ఉత్పత్తి 14.38 మిలియన్ మెట్రిక్ టన్నులు, భారతదేశంలో అతిపెద్ద స్టీల్ నిర్మాతగా, ప్రపంచంలోని అతి పెద్ద ఉక్కు ఉత్పత్తిదారులలో ఒకరైన సెయిల్. కంపెనీ యొక్క హాట్ మెటల్ ఉత్పత్తి సామర్థ్యం ఇంకా పెరుగుతుంది, స్థాయిని చేరుకోగలదని భావిస్తున్నారు సంవత్సరానికి 50 మిలియన్ టన్నులు 2025 నాటికి. శ్రీ పి.కె. సింగ్ ప్రస్తుతం సెయిల్కు చైర్మన్.[3]
