కొండకాటి పిట్ట
కొండకాటి పిట్టలు 'కోర్విడే' (Corvidae) అనబడే కాకుల కుటుంబానికి చెందిన పక్షి. తెలుపు-నలుపు రంగులుగల ఐరోపాసియా కొండకాటి పిట్ట నిజానికి అతితెలివైన జంతువులలో ఒకటి పేర్కొనబడింది మఱియు క్షీరదాలు కాని ప్రాణులలో తనను తాను అద్దంలో చూసి గుర్తుపట్టగలిగే వాటిలో ఒకటి.

ఇవి సాధారణంగా ఐరోపా, ఆసియా మఱియు ఉత్తరామెరికా ఖండాలలోని సమశీతోష్ణ ప్రాంతాలలో ఎక్కువగా బ్రతుకుతాయి. అలాగే టిబెట్ ప్రాంతపు ఎత్తైన కొండలలో, దాని యొక్క సరిహద్దు భారతదేశపు భూభాగాలలోని కనిపిస్తాయి.
