గడ్డి పాము
హిమాలయన్ కీన్‌బేక్ ఒక రకమైన విషరహితమైన సర్పాలు. ఇవి కొలుబ్రిడే కుటుంబానికి చెందిన గడ్డిపాముల జాతికి చెందిన సరీసృపం. ఈ జాతి దక్షిణ ఆసియాలో ప్రాంతాలలో ఉంటుంది.

హెచ్. ప్లాటిసెప్స్ భారతదేశం నుండి ఉప-హిమాలయ ప్రాంతం, నేపాల్, బంగ్లాదేశ్, పాకిస్తాన్, భూటాన్ , చైనాలలో 1000 మీటర్ల నుండి 3600 మీటర్ల మధ్య (సుమారు 3,300 నుండి 11,800 అడుగులు) ఉంటుంది.
వివరణ మార్చు
ఇవి ఆలివ్-గోధుమ రంగుతో చిన్న నల్ల మచ్చలు కలిగి ఉంటుంది; తరచుగా రెండు నలుపు సమాంతర రేఖలు లేదా మూపుపై దీర్ఘవృత్తాకార మార్కింగ్; తల యొక్క ప్రతి వైపున ఒక కాంతి, నలుపు అంచుల గీత, లేదా కంటి నుండి గ్యాప్ (నోటి మూల) వరకు ఒక నల్లని గీత; పసుపు, నలుపు చుక్కలతో లేదా లేకుండా; ఉంటుంది. గొంతు కొన్నిసార్లు నల్లగా ఉంటుంది. దీని మొత్తం పొడవు 90 సెం.మీ (3 అడుగులు); తోక 23 సెం.మీ (9 అంగుళాలు).[1][2]
