Death of Musaylimah After Muhammad's death, Musaylimah rose up against the new Caliph Abu Bakr but his forces were defeated by Khalid ibn al-Walid[5] as Musaylimah was killed by Wahshy ibn Harb in the Battle of Yamamah.

After the death of Musaylimah, a deputation of Banu Hanifa waited on Abu Bakr. He inquired of them what were the teachings of Musaylimah. As a specimen of his teaching they recited the following verse, which was to have been revealed to him: "O frog! Holy are you. You do not prevent the drinker, nor do you make the water dirty. Half the world belongs to us, and half to the Quraish, but the Quraish are a cruel people." On hearing this, Abu Bakr remarked: "God be praised. Is this the divine word? It has no sublimity of divinity. To what depths he had dragged you".

I too worked in atheist movement in past and now I am concentrating on study of Chalam and Ranganayakamma's literatures. నాస్తికత్వం, హేతువాదం కబుర్లు చెపుతూ ఇంట్లో కుటుంబ సభ్యులకి భయపడో, పదిమందిలో పరువు ప్రతిష్ఠలకి భయపడో మత కర్మకాండలు చేసే నాస్తికులు నాకు తెలుసు. I didn't perform rituals when my father died. I strongly refused to do rituals though my relatives scolded me. I know that most of the self-proclaimed atheists are not so courageous either they are Subba Raju or Hazrat Ali.

ముసేలిమాహ్ ఎవరో ఏ ముహమ్మదీయ చరిత్రకారున్ని అడిగినా చెపుతాడు. If you want you can find many sources in google, yahoo and lycos. I use mutilple connections. So, multiple IPs.

ఇది కూడా వితండవాదంలా ఉంది. ఆ వర్గం పేరు "ప్రవక్తలు" కాని "ఇస్లామియా ప్రవక్తలు" కాదు. లాజికల్ గా ఆలొచిస్తే అందులో బహాయీ మత ప్రవక్తల్ని కూడా చేర్చొచ్చు.

ప్రవక్తలు వర్గంలో ఈ వ్యాసం ఉంచడంలో అభ్యంతరమెందుకు ప్రవచించిన వారందరూ ప్రవక్తలే కదా. అయ్యా మహమ్మదీయ చరిత్రకారులనుండి తెలుసుకొనే అవకాశముంటే ఈ వ్యాసం ఎందుకు చదవాలి. గూగుల్లో అక్కడ ఇక్కడా ఉండచ్చు..కానీ ఇక్కడ ఆ మూలాల్నే ఉదహరిస్తే బాగుంటుంది --వైజాసత్య 07:36, 10 నవంబర్ 2008 (UTC)

Even a Satanic prophet can be called as prophet if he had done some prophecy(though it is evil prophecy). The category's name is not purposed for prophets of specific cult or religion.

Prophets

One who is associated with prophecy may be considered as a prophet, but here the enlistment is very important. We have to categorise all the prophets and put their names in the categories of their own religion, region and the cults. And even we can make a general category of prophets, and include their names, after getting consensus of the members.

I have no objection to put Musaylimah's name in the category of Prophets, provided his name should not be placed in the other categories such as [వర్గం:ఇస్లామీయ ప్రవక్తలు]. నిసార్ అహ్మద్ 05:22, 29 నవంబర్ 2008 (UTC)
