Parameter descriptions

  • transitmode - the type of rapid transit served by the station level/area. Recognized options are:
    • "HRT" (heavy rail transit)
    • "LRT" (light rail transit)
    • "BRT" (bus rapid transit)
  • elevation - the vertical location of the station level/area. Recognized options are:
    • "underground"
    • "above-grade" (or "above grade")
    • "elevated" (or "aerial")
    • "freeway" (located in a freeway median above or at grade)
  • platformcount - the number of platforms (usually 1 or 2).
  • platformlayout - the layout of the platforms with respect to the tracks. Recognized options are:
    • "center" (the platform is located between the tracks)
    • "side" (the platforms are on the outside of the tracks, adjacent to each other)
    • "nearside" (the platforms are on the outside of the tracks, and trains arrive at their platform before the grade crossing)
    • "farside" (the platforms are on the outside of the tracks, and trains arrive at their platform after the grade crossing)
  • trackcount - the number of tracks at the station level/area (usually 2).
