ఒరిగమి

ఒరిగమి పేపర్‌తో కళాకృతులు తయారుచేసే ప్రాచీన జపాన్ కళ . తరతరాలుగా ఈ కళ ఒక తరం నుంచి మరో తరానికి అందుతోంది. 1797లోనే ‘ఒరిగమి’కి సంబంధించిన తొలి పుస్తకం ప్రచురితమైంది. దీనిలో ఆ కళకు సంబంధించి రకరకాల సూచనలు ఉన్నాయి. జపాన్ భాషలో ఒరి అంటే మలచడం, కమి అంటే పేపర్ అని అర్థం. జపాన్‌కు అవతల కూడా ఈ కళ ప్రాచుర్యాన్ని పొంది, కాలంతోపాటు ఆధునికతను తనలో జత చేసుకుంది.
