సంఘం ప్లాటినం జూబిలీ ఉత్సవ సభ విజయవాడ సర్వోత్తమ భవనం లో జరిగింది. సంఘాధ్యక్ష్యులు కోదాటి నారాయణరావు అధ్యక్షత వహించగా, రాష్ట్ర పౌర గ్రంధాలయాల సంచాలకులు ఎం.వి.వెంకటరెడ్డి, సంఘపత్రిక గ్రంధాలయ సర్వస్వం 50వ సంపుటాన్ని (స్వర్ణోత్సవ సంచిక) ఆవిష్కరించారు. గ్రంధాలయోద్యమ నాయకులు వావిలాల గోపాలకృష్ణయ్య, విజయవాడ మేయర్ జంధ్యాల శంకర్, పార్లమెంట్ సభ్యులు వడ్డే శోభనాదీశ్వరరావు వేదికను అలంకరించి ప్రసంగాలు చేశారు.
=== Association Golden Jubilee Celebrations ((1964 May 26-27) ===
The Andhra Pradesh Library Association has celebrated its Golden Jubilee for two days on May 26 and 27, 1964 at Vijayawada in Sarvottama Bhavan. On the first day, the program was started with Saraswati Pooja at the Ramamohana Library. AyyamkiAyyanki Venkataramanayya lit the Jyothi, and it was presented to the Committee Secretary Chennuppati Seshagirirao,SeshagiriRao. while and the sameThe Jyoti was taken upto Sarvottama Bhavan in ingrand celebration withof a grand procession and presented to the Association Secretary Paturi Nagabhushanam. Later on a Conference of poets was heldconducted under the chairmanship of KavisamratKavi Samrat Viswanatha Satyanarayana. Several Telugu poets were participated in this programme including the secretary of the Association Paturi Nagabhushanam. The inaugural session ofIn the Celebrationsevening, heldAcharya inRayaprolu theSubbarao evening was presided over bythe Acharyasession Rayaproluof Subbaraothe Celebrations. The then state Law minister PV Narasimha Rao inaugurated the Celebrations. TheThen the community founders felicitated AyyamkiAyyanki Venkataramaniah and Komma Sitaramaiah were felicitated. TheOn second day, the conference papers presentation sessions were organized by the members of the association. It was chaired by Kodati Narayana Rao and Goparaju Ramachandra Rao. It was followed by thea meeting of library workers and also a public meeting. Andhra Prabha editor NeelarajuNeelamraju VenkateshashyaiahVenkataseshaiah chaired the meeting, while Andhra Jyoti editor Narla Venkateswara Rao inaugurated the meeting. The Andhra Pradesh State Industrial Minister M.S. Laxminarasaya unveiled the the publications of Golden Jubilee Proceedings of the Association - "Grandhaalaya Pragati" 1,3 volumes.

Venkata Reddi, the Director of Andhra Pradesh Adult Literacy Programme unveiled the 50thGolden editionJubilee issue, the 50<sup>th</sup> volume of the library,association’s MVjournal Venkataradi– “Granthalaya Sarvasvam.” Library Movement leaders Vavilala Gopalakrishnayya, Vijayawada Mayor Jandhalaya Shankar and Members of Parliament Wadde Shobhanadeeswara Rao graced the stage.
