కాకినాడ విమానాశ్రయం
కాకినాడ విమానాశ్రయం భారతదేశంలోని ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ రాష్ట్రంలోని కాకినాడ జిల్లా ఉన్న కాకినాడ నగరానికి చెందిన విమానాశ్రయ ప్రాజెక్ట్. భారత విమానాశ్రయాల ప్రాధికార సంస్థ (ఏఏఐ) పిఠాపురం, నేమం, ములాపేటల వద్ద మూడు సంభావ్య ప్రదేశాలను గుర్తించింది.[1] కాకినాడ అనేది పిసిపిఐఆర్ (పెట్రోల్ కెమికల్ పెట్రోకెమికల్ ఇన్వెస్ట్మెంట్ రీజియన్).[2] నగరానికి సమీప విమానాశ్రయం, రాజమండ్రి విమానాశ్రయం 70 కిలోమీటర్ల దూరంలో ఉంది.[3]
భారత విమానాశ్రయాల అథారిటీ కొత్త ప్రణాళికలో భాగంగా, భారత ఆర్థిక వ్యవస్థ వేగవంతమైన అభివృద్ధి అవసరాలను తీర్చడానికి దేశవ్యాప్తంగా 50 కొత్త విమానాశ్రయాలతో పాటు ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ లో 13 "నో ఫ్రిల్" విమానాశ్రయాలను అభివృద్ధి చేయడం జరిగింది.[4]
