చిన్న ఉపగ్రహాల ప్రయోగ వాహనం (ఎస్‌ఎస్‌ఎల్‌వి) భారతీయ అంతరిక్ష పరిశోధనా సంస్థ (ఇస్రో) అభివృద్ధి చేస్తున్న కొత్త ప్రయోగ వాహనం. ఇది భూ నిమ్న కక్ష్య లోకి 500 కిలోల పేలోడును లేదా సౌర సమన్వయ కక్ష్య లోకి 300 కిలోల పేలోడునూ మోసుకుపొఓగల సామర్థ్యం దీనికి ఉంటుంది. చిన్న ఉపగ్రహాలను ప్రయోగించటానికి, వివిధ కక్ష్యల్లో ప్రతిక్షేపించడానికీ దీనికి స్మర్థ్యం ఉంటుంది.[4] 2018 డిసెంబరు 21 న, తుంబాలోని విక్రమ్ సారాభాయ్ స్పేస్ సెంటర్ (వి.ఎస్.ఎస్.సి) వాహన రూపకల్పనను పూర్తి చేసింది. దీని తొలి ప్రయోగం సతీష్ ధావన్ అంతరిక్ష కేంద్రం నుండి జరుగుతుందని, అది 2019 డిసెంబరు లోపు ఉండదనీ వి.ఎస్.ఎస్.సి డైరెక్టర్ ఎస్.సోమనాథ్ చెప్పాడు. వాహన వివరం మార్చు

పిఎస్‌ఎల్‌వితో పోల్చితే భారీగా తక్కువ ధరలోను, అధిక ప్రయోగాల సంఖ్య తోనూ ఉపగ్రహాలను ప్రయోగించే లక్ష్యంతో ఎస్‌ఎస్‌ఎల్‌విని అభివృద్ధి చేసారు. ఎస్‌ఎస్‌ఎల్‌వి తయారీ వ్యయం ₹ 30 కోట్లవరకూ ఉండవచ్చు. [7][2]

స్వయం ప్రతిపత్త ప్రయోగాలపైన, సరళమైన లాజిస్టిక్స్ మీదా ప్రయోగాల సంఖ్య ఆధారపడి ఉంటుంది. ఒక పోలిక చూస్తే, ఒక్క పిఎస్‌ఎల్‌వి ప్రయోగంలో 600 మంది అధికారులు పాల్గొంటారు, అదే ఒక ఎస్‌ఎస్‌ఎల్‌వి ప్రయోగాన్ని ఆరుగురు వ్యక్తుల చిన్న బృందం చేసేస్తుంది. ఎస్‌ఎస్‌ఎల్‌వి ప్రయోగ సంసిద్ధత కాలం నెలలూ వారాలు కాకుండా కేవలం ఒక వారం లోపే ఉంటుందని అంచనా.[11][12] ఎస్‌ఎస్‌ఎల్‌వి ని, పిఎస్‌ఎల్‌వి, జిఎస్‌ఎల్‌వి ల మాదిరిగా నిలువుగాను, ఎస్‌ఎల్‌వి, ఎఎస్‌ఎల్‌వి ల లాగా అడ్డంగానూ కూడా నిర్మాణం చెయ్యవచ్చు. వాహనం లోని మొదటి మూడు దశలు ఘన చోదకాన్ని ఉపయోగిస్తాయి. నాల్గవది ద్రవ ఇంధన దశ. ఇది వేగాన్ని అదుపు చేసే మాడ్యూల్.
