బాబిలోనియా
బాబిలోనియా (Babylonia), మెసొపొటేమియా (నవీన ఇరాక్) దక్షిణ భాగంలోని ఒక రాష్ట్రం. ఇది సుమేర్, అక్కాద్ ప్రాంతాలను కలుపుతోంది. బాబిలోన్ నగర ప్రస్తావన అక్కాద్‌కు చెందిన సర్గోన్ పాలనలో గల శిలాఫలకం (క్రీ.పూ.23వ శతాబ్దం) ద్వారా తెలుస్తోంది.
