సినిమాలు, టీవీ షోలతోనే కాకుండా ఆమె పలు మ్యూజిక్​ ఆల్బమ్స్​లోనూ ఆడిపాడింది. ఇన్​స్పెక్టర్​ అవినాష్ వెబ్​సిరీస్​లోనూ ఆమె నటించింది. ఇది 2023 హిందీ భాష యాక్షన్ క్రైమ్ థ్రిల్లర్ వెబ్ సిరీస్, దీనికి నీరజ్ పాఠక్ కథ అందించి దర్శకత్వం వహించింది. ఇందులో రణదీప్ హుడా, ఊర్వశి రౌటేలా తదితరులు నటించారు.[4]

మధ్యప్రదేశ్​లోని ఇందౌర్​లో పుట్టి పెరిగిన ఆకాంక్ష పూరి అంతర్జాతీయ కింగ్ ​ఫిషర్​ ఎయిర్​లైన్స్​లోని క్యాబిన్ క్రూ మెంబర్‌గా ఉన్న కొద్ది కాలంలోనే మోడలింగ్ ప్రాజెక్ట్‌లను చేపట్టింది. పలు బ్రాండ్స్​ ప్రచార చిత్రాల్లో తన ఫొటోలతో పాటు వివిధ యాడ్స్​లోనూ ఆమె నటించింది. వాణిజ్య ప్రకటనలలో ఆమెను​ చూసిన తమిళ సినిమా​ నిర్మాణ సంస్థ 'గ్రీన్​ స్టూడియో' ఆమెకు సినిమా అవకాశం ఇచ్చింది. ఆమె 2013 తమిళ యాక్షన్ కామెడీ అలెక్స్ పాండియన్‌లో ఒక పాత్ర కోసం ఆమెను స్టూడియో గ్రీన్ ఎంచుకుంది, దానితో ఆమె తన మొదటి చలనచిత్ర ప్రవేశం చేసింది.[5][6]

అలెక్స్ పాండియన్‌ చిత్రం తెలుగులో బ్యాడ్ బాయ్ గా 2023 మార్చి 22న విడుదలైంది. ఇందులో కార్తిక్ శివకుమార్, అనుష్క శెట్టి, సంతానం, సుమన్ తదితరులు నటించారు.

ఆ తర్వాత ప్రేయిస్​ ది లార్డ్​ అనే మలయాళ సినిమా, సామ్రాజ్యం 2 అనే కన్నడ చిత్రంలోనూ ఆమె నటించింది. మధుర్ భండార్కర్ దర్శకత్వంలో వచ్చిన 2015 డ్రామా చిత్రం క్యాలెండర్ గర్ల్స్‌తో హిందీ చలనచిత్ర రంగ ప్రవేశం కూడా చేసింది.[7][8] 2017లో, ఆమె విఘ్నహర్త గణేష్ టీవీ సిరీస్‌లో మాతా ఆదిపరాశక్తిగా నటించింది.[9]

షాన్ హోస్ట్ చేసి స్టార్ భారత్ లో ప్రసారమయిన భారతీయ రియాలిటీ షో స్వయంవర్ - మికా ది వోహ్తి లో ఆమె విజేత.[10] 2023లో, ఆకాంక్ష బిగ్ బాస్ ఓటిటి హిందీ సీజన్ 2లో పాల్గొంది. జూన్ 2023లో మరో 12 మంది పోటీదారులతో షోలోకి ఆమె ప్రవేశించింది. అక్కడ ఆమె జడ్ హదీద్‌ను ముద్దుపెట్టుకుంది, ఇది వివాదానికి కారణమైంది.[11][12][13]
