జాతీయ రహదారి 42 భారతదేశంలోని ప్రధానమైన రహదారి. ఇది కర్ణాటక రాష్ట్రంలోని జోళదరాసి పట్టణాన్ని తమిళనాడు రాష్ట్రంలోని కృష్ణగిరి పట్టణాన్నీ కలుపుతుంది.[1] ఈ రహదారి సంఖ్య జాతీయ రహదారి 205, 219 నుండి 42 గా మార్చబడింది.[2]
