నిమిషా సజయన్ భారతీయ నటి. ప్రదానంగా మలయాళ చిత్రాలలో నటించే ఆమె దిలీష్ పోతన్ దర్శకత్వం వహించిన తొండిముత్యాలు దృక్సాక్షియుమ్ చిత్రంతో అరంగేట్రం చేసింది.[1] ఈ చిత్రం తెలుగులో 2022లో దొంగాట గా విడుదలైంది.[2] ఒరు కుప్రసిద పయ్యన్, చోళ చిత్రాలలో ఆమె నటనకు 2018లో ఉత్తమ నటిగా కేరళ రాష్ట్ర చలనచిత్ర అవార్డును అందుకుంది. ఆమె రెండు ఫిలింఫేర్ అవార్డ్ సౌత్, మూడు SIIMA అవార్డులు కూడా కైవసం చేసుకుంది.

నిమిషా ముంబైలో ఇంజనీర్ అయిన సజయన్, బిందు సజయన్ దంపతులకు జన్మించింది. వీరు కేరళలోని కొల్లాం జిల్లాకు చెందినవారు.[3] నిమిషా ముంబైలోని కార్మెల్ కాన్వెంట్ స్కూల్‌లో చదువుకుంది. కెజె సోమయ్య కాలేజీ నుండి ఆమె డిగ్రీ పట్టభద్రురాలైంది.[4]

దిలీష్ పోతన్ దర్శకత్వం వహించిన తొండిముత్యాలు దృక్సాక్షియుమ్ చిత్రంతో నిమిషా తన నటనా జీవితాన్ని ప్రారంభించింది. ఆ తర్వాత ఆమె ఎడిటర్ బి. అజిత్క్, రాజీవ్ రవి 'ఈద'లో ప్రధాన పాత్ర పోషించింది. మధుపాల్ దర్శకత్వం వహించిన ఒరు కుప్రసిధ పయ్యన్, సనల్ కుమార్ శశిధరన్ దర్శకత్వం వహించిన చోళ చిత్రాలకు ఆమె 2019లో ఉత్తమ నటిగా 49వ కేరళ రాష్ట్ర చలనచిత్ర అవార్డును గెలుచుకుంది. చోళ అనేక అంతర్జాతీయ చలనచిత్రోత్సవాలలో ప్రదర్శించబడడం విశేషం.[5]

2021లో ది గ్రేట్ ఇండియన్ కిచెన్‌లో నటించి ఆమె నటనకు మంచి ఆదరణ లభించింది.[6] అదే సంవత్సరం, ఆమె నయట్టు, మాలిక్ చిత్రాల్లో ప్రధాన పాత్రలు పోషించింది. 2022లో ఆమె ఒరు తెక్కన్ తల్లు కేస్, ఇన్నాలే వారే, స్వర్గం, తురముఖం, చేరా తదితర చిత్రాలలో నటించింది.
